Proving that there’s almost limitless potential for new versions of its iconic pony car, Ford Motor is reaching back 42 years to dust off one of its most famous names.
It’s bringing back the Mustang Boss 302. The original Mustang Boss 302 made its debut in 1968. Following its pattern, Ford is adding performance parts, a fancy paint job and a famous name to try to evoke nostalgia for a more carefree era.
The Mazda Miata is the gold-standard fun-to-drive car. For three grand, you’re probably looking at a first-generation edition (1989–1994) with the 1.6-liter four-cylinder. Mazda built tens of thousands of them, and many folks who bought them barely drove them, so plenty of low-mileage examples exist.

The engine is a bit noisy, but parents who value the feel of a sporty sedan won’t mind the trade-off.
Times are tough, and it doesn’t look like there’s going to be any major economic recovery in the near future. A lot of people, myself included, have cut way back on spending just to make ends meet. This time around it’s the Zonda HH, a one-off example built for a buyer in the US. Little has been revealed about the HH, although company founder Horacio Pagani has confirmed that it is essentially a blend of the Zonda F and the Zonda Cinque.
The one-off HH will be built using the Zonda’s carbon-titanium tub, feature centre-locking wheels and be fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes capable of slowing the Zonda HH from 100 – 0 km/h in just 2.1 seconds.
